How Act2Give & Jhive Came Together

Act2Give was founded with the mission to alleviate poverty within the Jewish community through grant making; and to provide training for individuals and employers in relation to the needs of the Jewish community. In 2021, Act2Give took the decision to channel all its activities through Jhive, which has an aligned mission across training, Jewish Inclusivity and alleviating poverty. To date, Jhive has already been successful in helping the unemployed back into work.**Jhive has a focus on increasing Jewish representation in under-represented sectors. They also have a focus on helping Jewish graduates and school leavers from socio-economic disadvantaged backgrounds with finding a career entry point. Jhive also has a focus on helping startup entrepreneurs with access to a programme of support, mentorship and a community. To find more about the work that Jhive does, please visit the website at: https://jhive.org.uk

Meet Founder of JHIVE / Act2Give: Daniel Levy

Daniel has spent over a decade working in under-represented sectors such as within technology, the automotive industry, innovation and start-ups. He has mentored and advised Jewish founders across a range of sectors and currently advises an early stage fund and programme with a global remit.Daniel has made it his mission to support Jewish founders and connect the unemployed to jobs within the Jewish community. This includes, school leavers, graduates, experienced professionals and sections of the community that come from socio-economic disadvantaged backgrounds that struggle to get onto the job ladder. Daniel also wants to increase both representation and inclusion in sectors where we are under-represented in the UK.**To reach this goal, we’ll be partnering with individuals and organisations that are passionate about tackling unemployment, increasing representation and supporting Jewish entrepreneurship. **
